I Built the Machine That Runs My Business Without Me. Weekend Install.

My phone lit up at 2:47 in the morning last Tuesday.

It wasn’t me typing. It was one of my agents. A lead had DM’d my Instagram asking about the Kit. Four minutes later they had a reply that sounded exactly like me, asked the two qualifying questions I’d have asked, and dropped the checkout link. By the time I saw it at 7am they’d already bought.

That’s the machine. I didn’t scale by hiring more people. I scaled by installing agents that do the daily work that used to route through me.

The AI employee for solopreneurs isn’t a chatbot on your homepage

Most people hear “AI for my business” and picture a chatbot in the corner of their site answering FAQs. That’s not an employee. That’s a wallpaper feature. It doesn’t move a lead through your funnel. It doesn’t book a call. It doesn’t recover a failed payment. It sits there.

An actual AI employee has three things a chatbot does not:

  • A specific job with a measurable output. Reply to leads. Draft the weekly email. Send the recovery message on a declined card.
  • Access to your real business data. Your CRM, your Stripe, your ESP, your calendar. Not just what someone typed into the chat window.
  • A voice trained on how you actually talk. Not a generic AI-tell paragraph that opens with “I hope this message finds you well.”

The AI Employee Kit builds you the first one. Not fifteen. One employee that does one job well.

The job I install first (and why)

The first AI employee I install for every buyer is the Lead Response Agent. Not because it’s the fanciest one. Because it’s the one that recovers the most money in the first 30 days.

Here’s the math I ran on my own DMs before I built this. Between 6pm and 9am, I was getting an average of 4 to 7 inbound messages every night. Most were people asking a real question. Someone I could sell to. And I was replying to them at 9am the next morning like everyone else on the internet.

The lead response research is brutal on this: reply in under 5 minutes and your conversion rate is roughly 8x replying in an hour. Reply the next day and most of them are gone. They asked, someone else answered, they moved on.

At my rough close rate on a warm DM, every one of those overnight leads I lost was about $137 in expected revenue. Five nights a week, 4 to 7 leads a night, most going cold. That’s real money leaking every night I slept.

The Lead Response Agent replies in 4 minutes. In my voice. It runs the two qualifying questions I’d ask on a first message (“What are you trying to sell? What have you tried so far?”). If the lead is a fit it drops the right checkout link. If they’re not it books them for a discovery call.

Since it went live my overnight replies close at almost the same rate as the ones I handle myself during the day. That number alone paid for the Kit in the first two weeks.

What’s in the Kit and what you actually install

The Kit is not fourteen PDFs. It’s the actual install. Every piece is written to be dropped in with about a weekend of your time.

The 14 assets, plain English:

  • The voice trainer. You paste in 5 to 8 samples of your writing. The output is a system prompt that makes any model sound like you. This is the piece that stops your AI from writing like an AI.
  • The Lead Response Agent build. Prompts, connectors, and the exact ManyChat + Stripe wiring that gets you a live agent replying to DMs and comments. Setup is roughly a Saturday afternoon.
  • The Content Drafter. Weekly IG posts, email drafts, and blog outlines drafted overnight so you wake up to a queue instead of a blank page.
  • The Recovery Agent. Triggers on Stripe declined-payment webhooks and sends the “your card didn’t go through” message in your voice, with a fresh retry link. This one alone saves 15 to 30% of otherwise-lost revenue.
  • Nine more pieces: the follow-up sequence, the DM sorter, the calendar-and-book flow, the review-request agent, the Amazon storefront curator, the podcast pitch drafter, the affiliate-link inserter, the audit-my-links checker, and the weekly report agent.

All fourteen are documented, all fourteen have working prompts, all fourteen include the connectors and the “here’s exactly what to click” install guide. Nothing is theoretical.

Weekend install, monday running

The pitch I make to every buyer is the same: install one agent in a weekend, run it live Monday. You do not need to install all fourteen the first month. You install the one that recovers the most money in your business first, get it running, verify it works, then stack the next one on top.

Most buyers start with the Lead Response Agent because the math is the fastest. Some start with the Recovery Agent if they run a lot of paid checkouts. Coaches sometimes start with the Content Drafter because their bottleneck is showing up on social every day.

Whichever you pick, the same rule holds: get one live, measure it for a week, then stack. That’s how you get to fourteen without the whole thing feeling like another project on your list.

Who this actually works for

The Kit is built for the operator who is doing every job themselves and hitting the ceiling of their own time. Coaches, creators, service businesses, one-person consultancies. If you can afford to hire a real assistant for $60K a year, hire one. The Kit costs $1,897 once and does the tasks the assistant would eat first anyway.

It is not for someone who has never sold anything yet. If your DMs are dead and your funnel is empty, an AI employee replies to nobody. Get the traffic and offers working first, then install the machine that keeps up with them.

My phone will probably light up at 2:47 tonight. I’ll see it in the morning. Some lead who found me through a pin or an ad or a DM will already be a buyer by the time I’m making coffee.

That’s the whole game.
